Hines has announced today that Proximo, the Class A office building located directly at new metro station Daszyński Roundabout, has obtained the final building permit.

Designed by the highly reputable architectural studio, Rolfe Judd, the building will comprise 28,385 square meters in total, including approximately 2,000 square meters of retail. Distinguishing features of the building include: high-quality finishing materials; large, efficient floor plates combined with a low add-on factor; floor-to-ceiling glazing, which ensure excellent daylight access, efficient systems and installations, and effective vertical communication between floors to provide comfortable working environment. Reception lobbies and landscaping are designed by world-renowned Italian design studio Pininfarina (Pininfarina’s first project in Poland). Parking for 435 cars will be provided in an internal, three-level below-grade garage. Additionally, Proximo will be certified to a BREEAM VERY GOOD.

Proximo will rise at the intersection of Prosta and Przyokopowa Streets, in Warsaw and will provide tenants an unbeatable location with immediate proximity to Daszyński Roundabout and the second metro line station under the same name. All seven entries to the new metro station are situated on the west side of Daszyński Roundabout and the nearest entry is located 20 meters from the main entrance to the building. Proximo’s location provides excellent access to the building both by car, as well as by public transport. The southern wing of Proximo will constitute a 13-story dominant, ensuring exceptional visibility from one of the main road junctions in this part of Warsaw.

The general contractor on the project is the Warsaw branch of Hochtief Poland. Construction will commence at the end of June 2014 and will be complete in May 2016. In June 2016 the building will be ready for occupancy.
