Located in a historic part of Warsaw at the Piłsudski Square, Metropolitan is one of Poland's most modern office buildings. The building was commissioned in September 2003 and set a new quality standard in the Polish office market, receiving many domestic and international awards, including MIPIM Award 2004, CIJ Best Overall Project of 2003 and RIBA Worldwide Award 2004.
The building was designed by Norman Foster's renowned design studio Foster + Partners. The net above-ground area of the building including the retail space on the first floor is over 37,000 sqm. The property has a two-story underground garage with spaces for over 420 cars.
The simple, clear architectural form and its modern and spacious circular courtyard are what makes Metropolitan so exceptional. Stretching along the northern part of the Piłsudski Square, Metropolitan has changed the shape of the most important square in the Polish capital, transforming it into a vibrant center of business and social life.
