Novum II Apartments consist of two six-floor buildings at Rakowicka 20 in downtown Kraków offering over 200 apartments in the most sought after sizes.
The architecture of the residential complex has been inspired by the urban fabric of the Kraków downtown and features a natural, spacious and verdant inner courtyard intended for the sole use of its residents. The design involved restoring the brick walls of a historic artillery workshop and making them part of the structure of one of the buildings. This treatment, combined with the modern architecture of the property, will imbue the buildings with a unique character.
The AN II development will also include three residential buildings that have been sold to the institutional investor Bouwfonds. This phase of the project involves the construction of almost 150 residential units and about 140 apartments targeted at students. All apartments will feature fully finished interiors.
The development is scheduled to start in April 2017 and delivered in Q3 2019. The second stage of Novum Apartments has been designed by Hines working together with the Kraków-based IMB Asymetria architecture studio. The general contractor for the project was Erbud S.A.
